McDonald Waste Industries president Jason McDonald founded MWI in July of 2006.
McDonald brings 15 years experience to the venture. McDonald started in the
solid waste industry with Seward Service in 1985 as a driver, mechanic and
operations manager. In 1989 McDonald founded Jason Enterprises, which operated
long-term contracts for the city of Seward and cruise line agencies of Alaska.
In 1996 McDonald founded Resurrection Refuse and Recycling with a partner,
which operated the Kenai Peninsula Borough Seward Landfill and Transfer station.
McDonald Waste brings state of the art equipment and extensive experience to
the refuse and recycling options available in the community.
